Privacy and protection of your personal data

This site is accessible in compliance with the R.G.P.D. (European Regulation – April 27, 2016). In general, access to the information offered on the site does not require you to provide any personal data (such as name, postal address or e-mail address).

Data controller

Principles governing the collection of personal data

In principle, access to the information available on or via the site is possible without having to provide personal data (name, postal address, e-mail address, etc.).

Exceptionally, in order to obtain additional services (registration for [newsletter] newsletters, requests for information, etc.), the user may be asked to provide personal information, mainly contact details. In this case, the latter is notified in advance and the data is processed in accordance with the regulations governing the protection of personal data (R.G.P.D.).

In concrete terms, this means that :

  • Your personal data may only be collected and processed in accordance with the purposes indicated on the site at the time of collection.
  • You have the right to check whether personal data is processed by I.S.Se.P. in connection with this site, via the address dpo@issep.be.
  • You will then have the right to consult your personal data, check its accuracy if necessary and have any errors corrected by contacting the data controller whose contact details are given above or the DPO.
  • I.S.Se.P. undertakes to take appropriate and proportionate security measures to prevent third parties from misusing the personal data you have provided.

Use of browsing information for statistical purposes

When you access the site, the servers consulted may automatically collect the following data:

  • the IP address assigned to you when you log on
  • date and time of access to the site
  • the pages consulted on our site
  • type of browser used
  • the platform and/or operating system installed on the PC
  • the search engine and the keywords used to find the site or downloaded files.

This information will be kept for the sole purpose of statistically measuring visits to the various sections of the site and making improvements. The ensuing reports would contain only anonymized data, and the data collected would be destroyed.

Use of cookies

In order to facilitate your navigation on the site (save your preferences or avoid having to repeat the same entries on each visit) and to optimize the technical management of the site, the I.S.Se.P. site. may occasionally use “cookies”, usually for the duration of a visit.

A “cookie” is a small piece of information stored by a website in your computer’s Internet browser. This cookie can be retrieved during a subsequent visit to the same site. The cookie cannot be read by a website other than the one that created it.

The electronic mailboxes at your disposal are managed by I.S.Se.P. Your contact details will only be used to direct you to the information available, to the relevant departments, or to respond to your requests for information.

The contact form is managed by the management secretariat and the complaint form by the Quality Unit.

Your contact details and the information contained in the forms will only be used to direct you to the information available and to respond to your inquiries.
