Fast, direct access to your local environmental data: using Webgis.
Our Institute carries out environmental measurements on behalf of the Walloon Region, for national and international research projects, and for the public and private sectors. For local authorities, ISSeP is developing tools to map these data. Each municipality can make environmental data such as water quality, air quality, soil quality, geology, waste, pollution, electromagnetic fields, urbanization, risks, etc. available to citizens via the website. This is a personalized service for visualizing local or municipal data (satellite data, measurement data, location, modeling), all presented in the form of detailed maps. These data enable us to better understand, react and plan urban development, in order to avoid risky situations or damage to the environment and health. They also enable citizens to access data and develop an environmental culture.
