At the Eighth International Conference on Advanced Geographic Information Systems (GEOprocessing) in Venice, two ISSeP papers are selected for the proceedings. The first, written by Odile Close, Nathalie Stéphenne and Christophe Frippiat, deals with the stability of spoil heaps and the processing of data from lidar technology to create digital terrain models. The second, written by Benjamin Beaumont, Nathalie Stephenne, Eric Hallot and Lien Poelmans, presents the results of the Walloon application of the land use change simulation model used by our Vito partners.
