Fabian Lenartz from the Cellule qualité de l’air is representing ISSeP at the 35th International Tehnical Meeting on Air Pollution Modelling and its Application, a conference held every 18 months and attended by around a hundred air quality modellers.
The presentation, entitled Data interpolating variational analysis for the generation of atmospheric pollution maps at various scalesshowed the new possibilities offered by a data interpolation method, developed at ULg and implemented at ISSeP, for mapping air pollution measurements at both regional and local scales, using Wallonia and the city of Antwerp as examples.
